Young Crafty Entrepreneur Q&A Learning the basics of setting up your own Craft Business!
ARTiculations is teaming up with our awesome pals at The Junction Project, for a one time Mini Market Q&A session. This is a chance for your kids (ages 7-13) to learn everything they need to know about selling their wares; we’ll help them plan out *what* they want to create, how to price it, how to photograph it – we’ll cover all the bases!
While they’re learning all these important skills they’ll also have a chance to fill in our 2016 Mini Market Vendor Application for our SPRING Mini Market (to be held on April 10th).
So, to review – if you have a child between the ages of 7 & 13, send them on over to ARTiculations to sign up for this GREAT seminar on the how’s and what’s of creating and selling their wares!

Melissa McColl is a lifelong crafter who is always enthusiastic about learning a new technique or skill. She is a knitter, crocheter, spinner, fiber and yarn dyer, jewelry maker and sewer. Melissa has participated in numerous craft shows, most notably Toronto’s One of a Kind. Melissa brought her line of knits for babies and toddlers, Vintage Baby Revival, to the holiday shopping masses and continues to sell her products at local shops. LadeeBee Supplies has been operating as an online, home-based business for a few years and now Melissa is taking her passion to new heights by opening a shop in her beloved neighbourhood, the Junction.

Specializing in storefront installations, environment design and event decor, she is devoted to animating the ordinary spaces we occupy in our day to day lives and transforming them into elaborate and immersive dream-like worlds that inspire social and civic engagement, and encourage the growth of new entrepreneurial and artistic endeavours.

Erika Jacobs is a producer and portrait photographer. In 2008 she received her BFA in photography from Ryerson University. Her interest in other people’s stories connects her with the world around her. She is used to tight spaces and tight deadline. She is a keen problem-solver. Based in Toronto, Canada, Erika’s editorial clients include Wallpaper Magazine, Holo, U of T Magazine, KingWest, Kraft, and Agency Vu.
The Junction Project is a not-for-profit initiative committed to using the power of arts and culture to build a healthy, vibrant and engaged community. Our objective is to provide families the opportunity to participate in wide-ranging experiences by organizing family friendly cultural events. Over the past five years we have created and delivered events which have served hundreds of families from within the Junction and surrounding neighbourhoods.

All ARTiculations workshops require advance registration, unless otherwise noted. Admission to Artist Talks is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
In the event of a workshop cancellation, registrants will be notified prior to the workshop start date and a full refund will be given. Participant cancellations are not refundable within two business days of the workshop date.

Youth Registration: We require the ARTiculations Youth Registration Package to be completed for your child prior to participating in our programming. Once completed, this package is kept on file for the academic year.
