Summer Camp Session 2: ARTiculations Studio Intensive (8-13yrs)

girl with clayThis workshop intensive will provide a survey of five fundamental artistic mediums and techniques.  Each day will feature a different medium and will combine exploration and process with the idea of a “finished work.”  This course is a great opportunity for students looking to build a portfolio as well as for students looking to explore a range of artistic methods.

  1. Acrylic Outdoor Landscape Painting
  2. Reductive Plaster Carving
  3. The human figure: life drawing and figurative sculpture
  4. Printing Press
  5. Curatorial and Exhibition Techniques

A Youth Registration Package MUST be filled out (or already on file) to complete registration.

What to bring;
A full lunch and 2 snacks (nut free)
Clothes for getting messy!
Sunscreen, hat, reusable water bottle
Appropriate footwear; close toed shoes for in the studio, walking/running shoes
A container on the last day to bring home artwork

Program Registration
All ARTiculations workshops require advance registration, unless otherwise noted. Admission to Artist Talks is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
In the event of a workshop cancellation, registrants will be notified prior to the workshop start date and a full refund will be given. Participant cancellations are not refundable within two business days of the workshop date.

Youth Registration: We require the ARTiculations Youth Registration Package to be completed for your child prior to participating in our programming. Once completed, this package is kept on file for the academic year.
