*No class March 17th
Come join us for figure drawing in a friendly, non-competitive space. This is a 4 week non-instructional program designed to practice your figure drawing skills. Sessions are limited to 10 participants, creating an intimate and rewarding experience for artists and model/performers alike. Our artist host will facilitate each session and be available for additional support to beginners. We alternate between male and female professional models who will pose unclothed and costumed, aiming for a diversity in age and body shapes. Subjects are on a raised model stand with proper spotlighting to create three-dimensionality. Drawing horses, easels, drawing boards are available. This group is for both amateur and experienced artists and we welcome all skill levels.
A variety of drawing materials will be available for use – so experiment with something new! Additional materials are also available for purchase from our shop.
Registration required for 4-week sessions at a cost of $75 + HST. Drop-in possible if space is available for $25 including HST – please contact us before attending.
Tea and snacks included.
Each 3 hour session will include a 15-20 minute warm up, a 15 min break at the half way point & optional group conversational critique at the end of the session.
