Join Michael Harding, founder of Michael Harding Artist Oil Colours, and New Wave Fine Art Products for an engaging Palette & Paint presentation.  Expand your historical perspective and technical knowledge by learning how to use a palette more effectively in combination with meaningful information on oil paints, mediums, and varnishes.  Keita Morimoto, recognized portraiture and figurative artist, will follow with a captivating painting demonstration.

Keita Morimoto is a painter who moved to Toronto from Osaka in 2008. Before and after graduating from OCAD University in 2012, Morimoto’s work has been exhibited in New York, Denver, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Indiana, Berlin, Portland, San Francisco, Miami, Montreal as well as Toronto. He has mounted four solo exhibitions including one museum solo exhibition at Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art. He has also participated in charity auctions including Art with Heart to support HIV care and Artists Help Japan for tsunami relief. He is now represented by Nicholas Metivier Gallery in Toronto.

This lecture/demo is FREE with a refundable $5 deposit.Registration is first come, first served & requires a fully-refundable deposit. If you are unable to attend for any reason let us know at least 24 hours in advance. Post-lecture/demo survey must be completed to receive refund. Why require a deposit? It is a proven approach to avoid no-shows (or timely cancellation).

All ARTiculations workshops require advance registration, unless otherwise noted. Admission to Artist Talks is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
In the event of a workshop cancellation, registrants will be notified prior to the workshop start date and a full refund will be given. Participant cancellations are not refundable within two business days of the workshop date.

Youth Registration: We require the ARTiculations Youth Registration Package to be completed for your child prior to participating in our programming. Once completed, this package is kept on file for the academic year.
