6:30 am to 8:00 am
For information about registration for this program, please call the shop.

Hosted by our friends, The Academy of Realist Art
2968 Dundas St West

This lecture is all about constructing a painting from the support to the ground and final layers, including discussing how the “fat-over-lean” rule in oil painting is inherently flawed. Practical procedures are described to build your oil paintings according to the studies on the conservation of paintings. The¬†presentation will be followed by questions and answers. This presentation is designed for painters of all mediums, but has special application to oil painting.

Digital Image Presentation: One hour lecture
