Drawing Portraits and People (4 weeks)

Beginner Drawing is a prerequisite for this class

In this class, you will be introduced to basic steps and methods for drawing and sketching people. You’ll draw from photos, mannequin (heads) and examples of artists’ drawings and find out techniques for drawing a “likeness.”

Some drawing experience required. Pamela’s Beginner Drawing recommended.

Pamela Dodds

Pamela Dodds is recognized for her work in relief printmaking, including woodcut and linocut as well as painting and drawing. She enjoys introducing fine art techniques to creative adults in the community workshop setting and has many years of experience teaching relief printmaking, drawing and painting to adults and children.

Program Registration
All ARTiculations workshops require advance registration, unless otherwise noted. Admission to Artist Talks is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
In the event of a workshop cancellation, registrants will be notified prior to the workshop start date and a full refund will be given. Participant cancellations are not refundable within two business days of the workshop date.

Youth Registration: We require the ARTiculations Youth Registration Package to be completed for your child prior to participating in our programming. Once completed, this package is kept on file for the academic year.
