Blue – An Indigo Workshop
Saturday March 29th 2014
11:00 am to 5:00 pm
Sorry, this workshop is sold out.
Indigo has been used as a dye all over the world for centuries. It’s no surprise that the mysteries and magic of indigo have held a special fascination for dyers, no matter their level of experience. Come spend a day “playing” with indigo and learn more about the principles of Shibori. Through various methods of folding and clamping, binding and stitching, you can create your own unique textiles. Beginners welcome!
Bring a variety of fabrics to experiment with. Silk scarves suitable for dying will be available for $10 each. Please wear clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty.
