Join us for a fun-filled week of making in the studio with artist Natali Draz of Proof Studio Gallery!
Explore different kinds of art you can make with colourful combinations of paper + ink! We will be learning how to create handmade paper from pulp, explore the possible patterns of ink on paper in marbling, creating our own tie-dye T-shirts and learning how to collect our paper and ink experiments into an awesome sketchbook we make together!

Day 1 – Paper + Pulp Explorations

Day 2 – From Drawing to Stamping!

Day 3 – Making a Sketchbook & Urban Sketching

Day 4 – The Magic of Dye – Tie-Dye & Marbling

Day 5 – The World’s Smallest Art Gallery

Natalie Draz is an artist documenting her neighbourhoods with bold, eye-popping illustrations. Drawn to clean inked lines, architectural details and the gorgeous palette of ink and watercolour, her illustrations transform from drawings into three dimensional papercuts that pop off the page!

Intermingling illustration, watercolour, printmaking and pop up artist books, Natalie creates art that unfolds, pops up, fans open and reveals her metropolitan stories.
