An artist-grade sizing liquid that reduces the absorbency of paper for watercolour painting to stop feathering and keep colours brighter.

Holbein Iridescent Medium is designed to facilitate a pearlescent effect when used with water based media. It is particularly effective when applied as an initial layer or can be mixed on a palette.

Mix with watercolour paint to create impasto or thicker painting effects. Gum arabic paste comes in a 15 ml tube.

Holbein gum arabic can be mixed with watercolour paints to enhance their gloss and transparency or mix with dry pigments to make watercolour or inks.
