Introduction to Acrylic Painting with Marie Boal
Introduction to Acrylic Paint (4 weeks) With Marie Boal
Explore the wonder of acrylic paint and its unique properties. Learn about your acrylic palette and mixing with acrylic colour. Since it isn’t watercolour - how do you paint with transparent acrylic? Since it isn’t oil paint - how do you blend and glaze? Also have fun with mark making and textures. Some mediums will be examined.

Meet your Instructor
Since Marie’s four years at OCA she has continued to draw and paint, photograph, and collage – taking instruction, developing mentors and working within a community of creative artists of all disciplines. In recent years she has been building objects from found and recycled materials inspired by puppet-making courses and the possibilities of shadow boxes.
She has shown her work in group shows and with Collectives. She works at ARTiculations and is always happy to answer your questions.
