Join us for a cozy workshop where you’ll learn how to paint colourful teacups with Acrylic Gouache. Together, we’ll cover how to paint a holiday teacup, drawn from life or a photo reference. You’ll learn how to use Acrylic Gouache to create flat blocks of colour, dry brushing effects, and fabulous texture. We’ll also cover how to create a simple holiday palette and simplify complex patterns, to create a quick and cute holiday painting.
Acrylic Gouache is a unique medium at the crossroads between traditional gouache and acrylic paint. Like traditional gouache, Acrylic Gouache is flat, matte and opaque. Like acrylic paint, it is creamy, smooth and water-resistant. This makes Acrylic Gouache a wonderful, beginner-friendly medium because you can layer paint and fix your mistakes.
This class is a great class for beginner artists, people new to Acrylic Gouache, or experienced painters looking for a cozy night of creativity.
