Thursday September 26th 2019 to Sunday November 3rd 2019
Margaret Atwood For Mayor
September 26-November 3, 2019
Reception: Friday, September 27th, 7:00-9:00pm
Drawing, with its inherent levity, affords a distinct freedom for an artist in interested in transgressive, juvenile, perverse, and outlaw themes. Elements of cartoons, comics, zines, and high-school doodling are merged here to create an alternate realm. In these artworks, drawing is an act of resistance with a feminist thrust.
