Call to Artists: Bookmark Exchange
ARTiculations invites you to participate in our new community project, the Bookmark Exchange. This is a chance to take a moment for art-making during a busy season and exchange miniature artworks with each other in the ARTiculations community.
How to Participate:
Register in store or online between Now until December 20th, 2024 and choose how you’d like to join:
Hahnemühle Gift Pack - $45 (while supplies last): An amazing limited edition curated kit including a 100% cotton Hahnemühle bookmark pad, three Schmincke Horadam watercolours, and a Da Vinci brush—perfect for diving into this project and exploring premium materials. (Value of over $70)
Basic Entry - $5: Includes two Hahnemühle 100% cotton bookmarks to create and exchange. This small fee helps us cover costs for the program while ensuring accessibility for all participants.
Exchange Only - Free: Pick up your bookmarks (on us!) and join the exchange. This option also uses Hahnemühle’s high-quality cotton watercolour bookmarks.
What Happens Next:
1. Pick up your bookmarks, create your artwork, and submit ONE piece by January 7, 2025.
Please note: This is a bookmark, intended for regular use. To protect books, please avoid using pastel, oil paint, or any materials that may transfer or damage when placed in a closed book.
2. All submitted bookmarks will be displayed in our community exhibition January 7-31st, 2025 celebrating the season and the launch of Hahnemühle papers at ARTiculations.
3. On January 31st, 2025, bookmarks will be randomly exchanged, and each participant will receive a piece of artwork created by another contributor to take home and enjoy (Just in time for the cozy book reading season!)
