We’re happy to welcome Melissa McGrath to the ARTiculations! She is joining us this autumn to teach Tissue Paper Collage, Bookbinding and Image Transfers as part of our youth weekend workshops for ages 7-12yrs.
Melissa McGrath is an artist and arts educator from Toronto. She completed a BFA in Studio Arts at Concordia University, and an MFA in Painting at The University of Victoria. Melissa has facilitated a number of community art programs and projects in Toronto, working with and learning from a multitude of creative children and youth. In 2013 she completed the mobile community art project “Art on The Move: Luminato Portraits” in collaboration with 82 grade 6-8 students as part of The Luminato Festival. She currently teaches visual art to children and youth at The Living Arts Centre in Mississauga.
