Printmaking with a Press

In this class, students will learn a number of approaches one can take with printmaking using an etching press. Each night a different technique will be introduced. Topics covered will include how to create a linocut (graphic) & print it on a press, monotype using watercolour & water soluble crayons (painterly), dry point (soft lines) on plastic & aluminum, and collagraph (collage). All techniques will be done with water wash up inks. No experience is necessary.

All ARTiculations workshops require advance registration, unless otherwise noted. Admission to Artist Talks is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Youth Registration: We require the ARTiculations Youth Registration Package to be completed for your child prior to participating in our programming. Once completed, this package is kept on file for the academic year.
