Wondering about Washi?
What is it made of? What makes it so special? What can I use it for?
The Japanese Paper Place representative, Paula Huisman, will discuss the history, making, and modern uses of washi – Japanese Paper. Whether you paint, draw, do printmaking, mixed media, or calligraphy – there is a Japanese paper that is right for you. Samples for experimenting with different media will be provided.
