Holbein Acryla Gouache, Holbein Acrylics and Acrylic Mediums
This demonstration will introduce Holbein’s Acryla Gouache, Heavy Body & Fluid Acrylics as well as Holbein’s Acrylic Gel and Paste mediums. Holbein’s innovative Acryla Gouache is available in 107 highly pigmented colours and combines the working qualities of traditional gouache because they move, react, blend and feel like a traditional gum arabic gouache but with the permanence of acrylics. Holbein’s Heavy Body Acrylics are available in 113 colours and the Fluid Acrylics are available in 60 colours. Both paints are highly pigmented and offer superior covering power and enhanced lightfast ratings. Holbein’s acrylic gel and paste mediums are designed to meet the demands of today’s acrylic artist and with their exceptional quality they are sure to support all artistic creativity. Attendees will gain an understanding of how these products perform on their own as well as how they are intermixable. We will cover the properties of these paints and what techniques can be used together with the mediums to alter texture, sheen, transparency, viscosity and depth to your paintings.
