September newsletter: Fall classes, Music Festival and SALES

Happy September Everyone!

We want to thank you for making this summer so wonderful here at the shop.  During the summer, our focus shifts almost exclusively to art camps and this year was the best so far!  From fabricating our own toys, to swimming in underwater worlds to creating tiny tree house settlements, we had an absolute blast working with some of the best budding artists the Junction has to offer. Be sure to check out our window display over the next couple weeks as we transition from our Paper Flower Garden into our new Fall Window Display.  During the transition, some of the great work created by our summer camp artists will up and on display.

As much as we love summertime, we are excited for the return of autumn and all that it means here in the shop and studio.  September is for getting back to a routine, carving out time to be creative and enjoying all the colours that come with the change of season.  This is our favourite time of year to try out some plein air painting.  You don’t have to go far to try it out.  Grab a coffee and your paints and stroll down to High Park for some excellent close to home plein air paint spots!

Looking to bring the art making indoors? Scroll down to take a look at our October classes!  Choose from Watercolour painting, Acrylic Painting, Drawing, Screenprinting and more! Our courses run 4 weeks in length, are 3hrs per session and are taught by practicing artists.

September is a month of change, reflection and new routine. Whatever that may mean for you, let us help you embrace the change of season creatively!

This is a picture from Heather & James’ trip last September. Outdoor music, painting and beer…doesn’t get much better then that!
